Overview
Part of the Agentic Shift System
This is a guide to the technical side of the agentic shift — how engineers and product teams get genuinely good at building with coding agents. It stops there on purpose.
The shift has a second front: the structural one — how organizations, teams, roles, and ways of working reshape themselves around agentic work.
Technical and structural shifts form one system: they enable and reinforce one another, and cannot be managed in isolation. A team that masters the tools but keeps its old org design stalls; a reorg with no engineering practice underneath is theatre.
For the structural half — the organizational picture this guide deliberately leaves out — see agentic-shift.com.
